The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

This young athlete has considerable social media following

The young golfer can count on plenty of prominent supporters as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in the sport at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, especially among younger fans.

The young star has a massive following and recently launched her own apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
