Passionate supporters of the actress are urging that a person who breached a fence and grabbed the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside camera operators and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though official papers showed that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the end of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Some fans also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips circulating online, Grande appeared surprised when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Many of fans had gathered in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it began.

The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, earning several for outstanding attire and production design.
